January  

            20th, Thursday                    Bamboo Plate                                  Adult Workshop

Participants will practice Sumi-e, Asian ink painting in decorating a square, dinner plate with bamboo shoots.  $22.00         

            27th, Thursday                    Splat-a-Pollack Bowl               Mom & Me Project

In this Mommy & Me project, adult-youngster teams will sponge, paint, dribble, and spatter colors on our popular rice bowl.  $11.00

           

            Anytime in January               Hearts & Flowers Picture Frame             Project of the Month

Painters use printed step-by-step instructions to decorate our heart shaped picture frame.  Though a self-directed workshop, staff members are available to answer any questions that may arise.  $14.99        

             

February

            16th, Wednesday                Marbleized Picture Frame             Adult Workshop

Participants will select 3 colors to swirl together on our rectangular, glass frame.  $25.00

            23rd, Wednesday                Fingerprint Train Plate               Story hour

After listening to the story of courageous Thomas, youngsters and their adult partners will use fingerprints to “paint” a train on a dinner plate with    $18.00

            Anytime in February             “Kisses $.25” Piggly Bank               Project of the Month

Painters use printed step-by-step instructions to decorate our piggly bank.  Though a self-directed workshop, staff members are available to answer any questions that may arise.  $14.99

 

March

            17th, Thursday                    “Roses are Red” Plate               Adult Workshop

Participants will sponge, paint, squiggle, dribble, and spatter this exuberant plate of roses!

            24th, Thursday                    Blinkin’ Bunnies Figurines                   Story hour

After listening to a Peter Cottontail episode, youngsters will paint a rabbit figurine that will include an electronic module that plays music and makes the eyes blink.

 

            Anytime in March            “How many Jelly Beans?” Container            Project of the Month

Painters use printed step-by-step instructions to decorate a utensil holder with jellybeans.  (Don’t forget to record the number of jellybeans painted – perhaps in the bottom of the container!?).  Though a self-directed workshop, staff members are available to answer any questions that may arise.

 

April

            20th, Wednesday                “Coffee to Go” Tray                                    Adult Workshop

Participants will use special matte glazes as well as underglazes to recreate this sophisticated tray.

            27th, Wednesday                Animals on Parade Cup                 Mom & Me Project

Adult/youngster partners will decorate a mug with animals made with fingerprints

            Anytime in April                     Line, Dot, and Lace Plate                  Project of the Month

Painters use printed step-by-step instructions to paint and embellish a coupe dinner plate.  Though a self-directed workshop, staff members are available to answer any questions that may arise. 

 

 

 


May

            19th, Thursday                    Creative Blending on a Bowl            Adult Workshop

Participants will use specialty glazes and cascades to decorate a mixing bowl.

            26th, Thursday                    “What’s in a Name?” Plate               Mom & Me Project

In this project designed for adult and youngster partners, painters will sponge, stamp, paint, and scratch the youngster’s name on a luncheon plate.

            Anytime in May                      Sunset silhouette Box                 Project of the Month

Painters use printed step-by-step instructions to decorate our cube box.  Though a self-directed workshop, staff members are available to answer any questions that may arise.
